Getting to work!
I've officially begun work on comic pages for Aww, Feathers! I've learned a lot. I've learned that when I draw full figures on paper I tend to make them too squat, and when I draw them digitally I tend to make them too tall. I've learned I've got quite a lot of room for improvement in anatomy and perspective, but that I'm a lot better at them than I used to be. I've learned that hands are still hard to draw. But the most important thing I've learned is that I can actually do this. It's not easy, but it is possible, and so far I've managed to keep up with the work schedule I've set for myself.
Things are going quite well on the home front too. I didn't know my body could operate on so little sleep, haha! Our baby girl is growing like she should and doing what babies do. Parenting is rough, especially for a first timer like me, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! What with my full-time job and taking care of my wife and child it's amazing I have any time left at all to work on personal projects like AF, but somehow it's all worked out so far. Here's hoping that continues!
Just a couple months left! Huzzah!
